Stacey Matthews is the new project lead for the Global cardiovascular Research Funders Forum's Women's Cardiovascular Health Initiative. Here, she shares the GCRFF's exciting plans to accelerate the increase in women-specific heart health data, to make up for the years women have been underrepresented in clinical research. Understanding women's heart health has waited too long, and Stacey is determined to understand the gaps in research and guidelines that will further our knowledge of women with heart disease.
