Walk this way

Heart Foundation Walking is Australia’s largest free walking program, and has encouraged thousands of people to walk more since 1995. One of the ways we support people in getting more physically active is through our Australia- wide network of free walking groups.


Joining a walking group has many benefits beyond improving your health and fitness. A group can help you stay motivated, walk safely, make new friends and feel connected to your community; it makes looking after your heart a fun, social activity.
