Meet Katrina

For years Katrina has been a tireless advocate and fundraiser for the Heart Foundation, in memory of her beloved husband Scott.

Like many of our supporters, Katrina’s involvement with the Heart Foundation grew out of a tragic loss. In 2019 her partner Scott suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack. He was just 42 years old and a father of two.

This November, Katrina and her eldest son Joey will be hiking across Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain National Park in support of the Heart Foundation, and of course, in honour of Scott. “Scotty was a marathon runner. He loved to challenge himself physically and mentally, so this trek is a great way to honour him,” she says.
