Health Professional Ambassador Program

The Heart Foundation is seeking doctors, nurses and allied health professionals (e.g. pharmacy, Aboriginal Health Workers/Practitioners) who are passionate about improving cardiac care in primary and secondary care to join the Health Professional Ambassador program in 2019. Now is your chance to join this exciting program. Together we can support earlier detection and better management of cardiovascular disease.


Would you like to improve the cardiovascular health of your patients? We are now looking for the next group of passionate health professionals to take part in our Health Professional Ambassador program for 2019.

What's involved?

Attend 3-5 full day workshops in 2019 depending on location. 


Have approval from your manager to participate


Have access to email and internet for ongoing communication in between workshops


Be an active participant in workshop discussions


Commit to the delivery and presentation of a Workplace Activity project related to cardiac care.

Committed to supporting health professionals improve patient care and outcomes across the country, the Heart Foundation is offering this professional development program free of charge. However, travel to attend workshops is at your own or organisational expense. We will provide a certificate of attendance for inclusion in your Continuing Professional Development records.
